Emerging technologies are transforming communities, industries, and environments — but they are also raising ethical concerns about their often unforeseen impacts.
Intended Impact
Our vision for this panel discussion was to spark conversation around ways UW–Madison can lean into fostering transdisciplinary collaboration — whether that be through new courses, department synergies, events, or research.
We also hoped this event could inspire curiosity & encourage an informed awareness around how we can use emerging technologies as raw, creative materials in solving today’s most pressing challenges.
